To the President of The United States of America,
His Excellency Mr. Barack Obama
Your Excellency,
As president of the Lions International Region 13 (a region of Lions District 124 Romania that is well known for it’s variety of multicultural and multiconfessional members, from Germans and Jews to Hungarians, Italians, French and even Americans) and in the name of over 300 members of Lions International who are active within Zone 13 of Lions District 124 Romania I have the honor and the pleasant mission to write to Your Excellency and congratulate you for succeeding in your political battle to become President of the USA. Also, the ex-governor of Lions between 2007 and 2008, Dr. Andrei Kosma, a dear friend of Region 13, wishes to congratulate you on what he thinks is a very big win in modern politics.
I had the pleasure of finding ideas is your public speeches that are very similar to the ideas we have within our club and that go very well with our motto “We Serve”. This motto shows exactly what our goal is, and that’s promoting stability, equilibrium, and universal peace, but also strengthening the spirit of freedom we all look for.
Being aware of your hectic schedule I hope you will find the time to write back to us as it would bring joy into the hearts of many young Lions members.
