Tiziano Ferro (born February 21, 1980 in Latina) is an Italian latin pop singer. He also records Spanish versions of his Italian albums and has had notable success in Europe and Latin America, Ferro has sold more than 7 million albums worldwide.
Steven “Steve” Siro Vai (born June 6, 1960 in Carle Place, New York) is an Italian American instrumental rock guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, producer, beekeeper, and actor. After starting his professional career as a music transcriptionist for Frank Zappa, Vai would also record and tour in Zappa’s backing band starting in 1980. The guitarist began a solo career starting in 1984 and has released 13 solo albums as of 2008. Apart from his work with Frank Zappa, Vai has also recorded and toured with numerous musical artists including Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth and Whitesnake. Vai has been a regular touring member of the G3 Concert Tour which began in 1996. In 1999 Vai started his own record label Favored Nations with the intent to showcase, as Vai describes: “…artists that have attained the highest performance level on their chosen instruments.
Hot Chocolate was an English pop band of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s formed by Errol Brown. The band were chart regulars throughout the 1970s and 1980s.[1] The act has at least one hit every year between 1970 and 1984 and “You Sexy Thing” made the Top 10 in three decades.[1] With their seductive lead singer Errol Brown, Hot Chocolate became as entwined with 1970s pop culture as Star Wars.
Invitaţii români ai concertului de deschidere sunt: Paula Seling, Nicola, Leo Iorga, Luminiţa Anghel, Aurelian Temişan, Monica Anghel, Vlad Miriţă,Nico, Delia Matache, Mihai Georgescu, Aura Urziceanu,Marcel Pavel, George Nicolescu şi Doina Spătaru,Gabriel Cotabiţă. După concurs, seara se va încheia cu un recital susţinut de trupa Hot Chocolate.
“Seara Pop va avea ca invitaţi membrii trupei Holograf, iar în Seara Rock va urca pe scenă formaţia Direcţia 5. Finala Concursului de Interpretare se va încheia cu un spectacol exploziv Vama, intitulat ,,The Vama – show”.”
În seara de 6 septembrie vor cânta Loredana, Steve Vai şi Tiziano Ferro.
